The Municipal Chief Executive for Yilo Krobo Municipal Assembly, Hon Eric Tetteh together with
the Municipal Director for Education and some officials from the Ghana Education Service(GES)
on the 10th of January,2023 visited some Basic Schools in the Municipality as part of the routine “MY FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL TOUR”
Hon. Eric Tetteh interacted and welcome all freshers to their respective schools especially the lower primary.
The MCE believes his presence and motivation will help sustain the interest of the pupils in school.
The team visited Sra Presby Basic School, Korboe Okumka Basic School and the Ogome Anglican Basic School.
The Municipal Chief Executive, presented drinks and biscuits to them and urged them to take their studies
seriously and be punctual in school since that’s the only way they could attain a better life in future.
