1. OPENING

The meeting started at 10:30am with a prayer by Ing. P.T Obour

Hon. Ebenezer Tetteh Kupualor, Municipal Chief Executive for Yilo Krobo Municipal welcomed all members present.

2.0 MCE’s ADDRESS

Hon. E.T. Kupualor expressed his utmost appreciation to the contractor (Antartic LTD) and the government for completing the project. He encouraged the people of Apersua to make good use of the facility. He informed the people that the government is committed to providing access, improving quality and relevance of education to the needs of the people. Hon. Kupualor disclosed that keys to the school would be given to the Municipal Education Director, Mrs. Veronica Tetteh. He concluded by informing the people that the Municipal Assembly would liaise with the Ministry of Education to furnish the school with equipment and furniture.

3.0 INSPECTION OF FACILITY

The MCE together with the Municipal Coordinating Director, Municipal Education Director, the Contractor, Project Consultant and Community Members inspected the facility. The ultramodern facility includes 24-unit classroom blocks, 4 science labs, 1 ICT lab, 2 libraries, 48 washrooms for students, 12 washrooms for teachers, 5 polytanks for water storage and an incinerator.

4.0 CLOSING

The Project Consultant mentioned that all defects on the project would be corrected by the contractor and entreated the people to take good care of the facility that have been provided. The

ceremony came to an end at 11:45am with a prayer by Hon. Moro.
